Below you will find the 2021 Annual Parish Report.

2020 began with St. Paul’s preparing for major changes as we began our search for a new rector. Surprise! We forgot that we needed to remember that God has a different schedule than we do. We don’t mean to blame God for 2020, but sometimes we forget that we aren’t in charge. Little did we dream of the changes that 2020 would cause society and our St. Paul’s community.

The year began with celebrating St. Paul’s 140th Anniversary and Fr. Deon’s going away party. Then March arrived, and life changed quickly. All of a sudden we were a parish without the ability to use our building, as the Michigan Bishops closed down all parish facilities in an effort to protect people. The belief was that Jesus would want to save lives, and people would come to understand that the big picture was more than just Sunday worship.

Within the pages below you will find the more stories and information about how 2020 looked at St. Paul’s.
